OK, I couldn't help myself and here is another one from Walt Fritz of Foundations in Myofascial Release Seminars http://www.waltfritzseminars.com/myofascialresource/ For those of you who are suffering from conditions, such as arthritis, deemed "incurable," yes, there is a lot that can be done with MFR! One key concept I want to draw your attention to is "low load, long duration." Stretches that gently engage the barrier and may feel like "nothing" to the patient, if held steadily and for a long enough time can have a tremendous value to releasing fascial restrictions and helping restore vital structures, such as joints, to a greater level of functionality. Enjoy!http://youtu.be/O7KvB_SH5h4

Would you like to have the cause of this persistent ache in your shoulder blades finally taken care of? How about loosening up those shoulders? Well, then Myofascial Release might be just what you are looking for. By addressing causes of aches and stiffness in the body, rather than trying to release the symptoms while the root cause persists.
Check out what you could expect to receive during your MFR treatment on this new video from Walt Fritz of Foundations in Myofascial Release Seminars |

This is a study conducted by one of John F. Barnes's Myofascial Release top instructors, Carol M. Davis on benefits of MFR techniques for a variety of symptoms. These simple, drug-free and safe techniques can have a great benefit for improving overall health and wellbeing. MFR can be beneficial not only for postural and orthopedic problems but also can improve the functioning of digestion, circulation, immunity and respiratory system. It is very uplifting that now these results can be proven within the scientific framework. |

The female pelvis due to its anatomy and female physiology is more prone to trauma and instability. When the fascia in the pelvis area becomes tight or restricted or when adhesions are formed as a response to trauma, the functioning of the vital organs, such as the uterus or the bladder can be impaired. Symptoms such as painful menstruation or incontinence are often results of fascial dysfunction. Surgery and, so importantly, childbirth and delivery often create traumatic responses in the pelvic fascia. |

I wanted to share with you the Gillespie Approach website I encourage everybody, and especially new and expecting parents to check it out! Dr. Gillespie is a founder and teacher of the Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT). This comprehensive approach to healing facilitates release of fascial restrictions and frees the movement of the brain within the cranium. It is completely safe and essential for newborns and infants to help relieve fetal and birth trauma and hence prevent a wide array of illness and dysfunctions. |

"Something for us all to consider is that even with light massage techniques, we are forcing a system that cannot be forced. The fascial system is too powerful. Unfortunately, either too much or too little effort or force is used or done too quickly with other techniques. There are myofascial release principles that need to be applied so the system truly releases—and so we do not experience the frustration of temporary results of other techniques." Check this article by John F. Barnes to learn more about how true healing works and what to expect from your MFR therapist: |

Our four-legged friends love MFR! They intuitively know how to let go of stress and accumulated trauma. Catch your dog or cat "unwinding" next time they spontaneously move, shake and roll on the ground. They are letting go of "frozen" tissue memory... How about joining in the fun? You can learn a lot from them! Below is a great article by John F. Barnes about his experience with Waldo, the cat... Enjoy your day! http://www.massagemag.com/News/print-this.php?id=11719
