The female pelvis due to its anatomy and female physiology is more prone to trauma and instability. When the fascia in the pelvis area becomes tight or restricted or when adhesions are formed as a response to trauma, the functioning of the vital organs, such as the uterus or the bladder can be impaired. Symptoms such as painful menstruation or incontinence are often results of fascial dysfunction. Surgery and, so importantly, childbirth and delivery often create traumatic responses in the pelvic fascia. Every woman, and especially new moms should have their pelvic area treated. MFR, with its gentle and noninvasive techniques that rely on the natural self-healing processes in the body, is a great way to address female problems. Please learn more about this topic and how MFR can help in the article by John F. Barnes, the founder of Myofascial Release approach. Enjoy! |
